New Zealander Paul Coll has pulled off his second five-game victory in as many days, overcoming an inspired Mohamed ElShorbagy to book his place in the final of the Optasia Championships.
Coll, who defeated ElShorbagy’s younger brother Marwan in five games just 24 hours beforehand, had to deliver some of his gutsiest squash to survive a brilliant ElShorbagy performance and fight back from 2-0 down to complete the finals lineup in London.
World No 4 Coll was to take on the world No2 Mostafa Asal in the title decider this morning. — APL
