Bella Breen created a little piece of Maadi magic.

After having already won gold in the girls under-17 coxed quad sculls, Breen rounded out the final day of Maadi Cup with two additional top podium finishes on Saturday.

The Dunstan rower was in the boat early to charge to victory alongside Charlotte Crosbie in the girls under-15 double sculls.

They finished in 7min 42.23sec, almost nine seconds ahead of runners-up Glendowie College in an emphatic victory.

Breen jumped back in the boat on the Lake Karapiro waters and once again landed clear at the top.

Breen and Ruby Smith won the girls under-17 double sculls in 7min 30.47sec.

Wakatipu pair Lucy Clark and Amy Paterson rounded out the event’s podium, winning bronze in 7min 36.77sec.

The Queenstown school were yet again among the medallists on the final day.

Harry Lightfoot and Sebastian Watson were crowned the boys under-18 double sculls champions in 6min 31.19sec.

Reuben Davis, Phineas Thomas, Henry Monnier, Baxter Kingan and Jessie Glover also won silver in the boys under-15 coxed quad sculls with a time of 6min 52.17sec.

It brought Wakatipu’s medal tally to seven for the regatta, where they were awarded the Presidents Scull trophy.

The award is presented to the overall champion sculling school at the regatta.

Waitaki Boys’ also snagged a podium finish on the final day.

Ike Newlands-Carter, Cash Paterson, Shaun Lucey, Samson Isbister and George Smith won bronze in the boys under-18 novice coxed four, with a time of 7min 0.95sec.
