Death Notices are published in the Classifieds section of the Otago Daily Times print and e-editions every day.
To place a death notice
If you wish to place a death notice in the ODT, then you can do so:
- Online: https://admaker.alliedpress.co.nz/
- Email: classified@alliedpress.co.nz
- Come into: 52 Lower Stuart Street Dunedin or your local ODT office
You will need to get your death notice authorised by a funeral director before it goes to print.
Please note: Death Notices cannot be placed over the phone
To view a death notice
You can view death notices which have been placed in the Otago Daily Times by purchasing a print copy of the ODT or by purchasing digital copies of the paper through our Digital Edition and Archives system.
Death notices are not available to view on the odt.co.nz website.
