A Tapanui man will remain in custody after appearing in the Queenstown District Court on multiple drugs charges on Thursday.
Jamie Waterman, 25, who was arrested in Roxburgh on Wednesday, did not enter a plea to 19 charges, including offering to sell methamphetamine, ecstasy, cannabis and GHB — commonly known asfantasy.
In a media statement, the police said an investigation into Waterman’s alleged offending began after he crashed his vehicle near Roxburgh on August 7.
He is due to appear in the Alexandra District Court on April 9 but has been given leave to apply for electronically monitored bail.
