An Invercargill male has been charged with disorderly behaviour after being ejected from a wedding at Millbrook on Friday night.
Acting Sergeant Jason Reid, of Queenstown, said after leaving the wedding the male became abusive to Millbrook staff and was taken to Arrowtown.
"He revved up and was abusive and trying to start fights [in Arrowtown]."
• A Honda Accord vehicle was impounded and its driver, an 18-year-old Invercargill male, will be charged under the Boy Racer Act after reports of a vehicle doing burnouts on Friday night.
Sgt Reid said police were called to a Ferry Hill address about 11.45pm on Friday and found the vehicle unattended and its front tyre "shredded to the rim". The owner of the vehicle later admitted being the driver.
• Two cars had been interfered with in Maxwell Pl early on Saturday.
Sgt Reid said a female had reported that after parking her car, which she left unlocked, at 2am, she returned to fined $800 missing from the console.
Police received another report from the same street about a vehicle being "searched". However, nothing was taken.
• At 5.55am on Saturday a 22-year-old male from Patearoa was arrested and charged with drink-driving on Frankton Rd. He recorded a breath-alcohol level of 514mcg.
• A 25-Year-Old male from Woodlands was charged with disorderly behaviour after police were called to a fire on Sunday at 1am.
The Queenstown Volunteer Fire Service found a pile of newspapers at Queenstown Primary School had been set on fire. Police were called. Sgt Reid said a 25-year-old male was arrested and charged.
• A 22-year-old Dunedin male is likely to be charged with possession of an offensive weapon following a 21st celebration on Malaghans Rd on Sunday morning.
Sgt Reid said police were called to the property about 2.20am when reports were received about a fight.
"There were unconfirmed reports of [the male] waving a knife around."
Police arrived at the scene to find party-goers had already taken the knife from the male, but he had "put his fist through a window".
The male was arrested for disorderly behaviour. More charges were likely, police said.
• A 29-Year-Old Chilean woman was arrested and charged with drink-driving.
She recorded a breath-alcohol level of 481mcg at 4am on Sunday.
