In memory

The sons of late Palmerston police officer Stefan Witehira, Kelyn (left) and Breeshyn Witehira, plant a tree at East Otago High School in Palmerston this week in memory of their father, under the watchful eye of school property manager Gary Johnson and pupils from the school.

Mr Witehira, who died suddenly on a school camp in 2017, was also the school’s board of trustees chairman.  The tree was donated by the Witehira family, as part of the school’s Matariki celebrations.
