Fun and entertainment for people of all ages will fill Mosgiel Memorial Garden this Sunday as "Party in the Park" returns.
The event, run by Festival of the Plain, had to be cancelled last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Chairman Ian Chalmers said it was great to have the event back up and running.
The event will begin at 10am and continue until 4pm, with a wide range of activities on offer for families.
A bouncy castle will be set up for children to enjoy, and the Dunedin Fire Brigade Restoration Society will offer fire engine rides.
A bike-a-thon will enable young children to enjoy an obstacle course race.
A stage will entertain the crowd with a number of acts including magician Jonathan Usher and performer Dusty Murtagh.
Boys’ Brigade New Zealand will be bringing a workshop trailer which showcases all sorts of fun activities.
There will also be food and craft stalls with all sorts of items from crystals to babies’ knitware to wood craft.
In previous years the event has attracted thousands for a fun day out, Mr Chalmers said.
