Applications for the 2025 Stand Up, Stand Out — Comedy School for Teens are now open.
Part of the Dunedin Fringe Festival, the Stand Up, Stand Out — Comedy School for Teens (SUSO) is a series of workshops and a performance showcase designed to encourage and educate a new generation in the art of stand-up comedy. Eight places are available for rangatahi aged 13-17 years.
Workshops will be hosted by local comedians, including Harriet Moir, on March 13, 18, and 20, with two public showcases at Te Whare o Rukutia on March 22.
Applications close on February 28.
