Friday, February 15 • A Scotsman was charged with driving with a breath-alcohol level of 574mcg in Fernhill at 11.40pm.
Tuesday, February 12 A 25-year-old New Zealand man was arrested and charged with the theft of a bladder of wine.
Monday, February 11 8am: Police received a report of theft from a vehicle parked outside a Peninsula Rd address in Kelvin Heights. Senior Constable Chris Blackford said a back window was smashed to gain entry to the vehicle, although nothing was taken. A garage at the property was also entered and three mounted amplifiers in a box were taken along with a petrol can. Inquiries were continuing.
Tuesday, February 5 4.40pm: A 26-year-old English man was arrested in relation to two shoplifting incidents - one in Queenstown and one in Dunedin.
Saturday, February 2: • A vehicle crash on Malaghans Rd on Saturday evening is being investigated. A car driven by a 19-year-old Invercargill male crossed the centre line, causing an oncoming car to drive into gravel, Sergeant Steve Watt said. The man said he had moved to avoid a cyclist.
Monday, January 21 • Friends of a 19-year-old German man called police on Sunday to report their missing friend had called them saying he was lost in the bush. Senior Constable Chris Blackford, of Queenstown, said the man walked out on Monday morning after a fall. He had some grazes but was otherwise fine.
Saturday, January 19 At 10pm, an Invercargill man was arrested in Camp St after a warrant for his arrest was issued in the Invercargill District Court on Friday.
Tuesday, January 15 At 7.48pm, a Search and Rescue was instigated for two men who were reported overdue in Arrowtown after walking from Glendhu Bay. It was later revealed the men were safe and were still in Wanaka.
Friday, January 11 At 3pm a man reported his 3m yellow and white single kayak had been taken from the Queenstown Gardens. Inquiries are continuing.
Tuesday, January 8 • A 38-year-old Queenstown man was arrested and charged on historical deception matters, Senior Constable Christ Blackford said.
Wednesday, January 2 4.20pm: Passengers in a vehicle travelling on the Arrowtown-Lake Hayes road were treated for minor injuries at Lakes District Hospital after being ''rear-ended'' by another vehicle. Senior Constable Chris Blackford said the crash occurred at the Arrowtown end of the road. Inquiries are continuing.

At 4.15pm on Tuesday the driver of a car travelling on the Glenorchy Rd lost control in road works and hit a rocky bank. There were no injuries.
A "highly intoxicated" 20-year-old Mexican man living in Queenstown was punched in the face a prank failed to impress a woman's partner.
Inquiries are continuing after Queenstown police received a complaint on Saturday at 3.40am. Sergeant Steve Watt, of Queenstown, said a taxi driver picked up a couple and took them to a Frankton Rd address, where they began to argue about the fare.
