Transom calls it quits

Aquablack Laticia Transom has announced her retirement from swimming.

Transom won five medals at the Commonwealth Youth Games in 2017 and made her senior international debut at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018.

She was a finalist in the 4x200m freestyle relay at the world championships last year and was part of New Zealand’s first relay team to make an Olympic final, alongside Dunedin swimmers Erika Fairweather and Caitlin Deans, in Paris. — APL
