Auckland will host the national track and field championships for the next three years, Athletics New Zealand announced yesterday.
Athletics New Zealand chief executive Cam Mitchell said having a consistent home for the event in the buildup for the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028 was key. Auckland last hosted the event in 2013 and the most recent edition was held in Dunedin in March. The championships will be held from March 5 to 8 next year. — APL
