That much everybody knew.
The Jamaican international has been an unstoppable force for the Steel since joining the franchise in 2013.
The 1.98m goal shoot was a revelation in her debut season, scoring 666 and the 27-year-old has continued to plunder goals at a matchless rate.
She collected two MVP titles in the now defunct transtasman tournament and looks set to have an even bigger impact on the ANZ Premiership.
The poor old Tactix have often fallen victum to Fowler-Reid's extraordinary skills. On Wednesday night she gave the Christchurch-based team another dose, scoring a staggering 70 goals in a record 90-41 win.
It was the fifth time she had scored 60 or more goals against the Tactix and it was her largest individual haul, surpassing her previous record of 65.
But what people might not know about Fowler-Reid is she is a very humble, quiet and shy person.
Her stint with the Steel has helped bring her out of her shell a little. That was evident when a certain defender known for her fierce and combative nature literally growled at Fowler-Reid as they walked on to the court before a match last year and Fowler-Reid growled back.
But with 2810 goals in 59 games for the Steel (91.2% accuracy and an average of 47.6 goals per match), everybody knows her bite is far worse.
