Southern trio in squad

Southern players Summer Temu, Serina Daunakamakama and Laura Balmer have been selected in the 14-strong New Zealand under-21 travelling squad for a tournament in Canberra next month.

The Kiwi juniors will play their Australian and English counterparts to get valuable preparation for the 2025 World Youth Cup.

Priscilla Rasmussen, Khanye-Lii Munro-Nonoa, Charlotte Manley, Shayla Nepia (all Northern), Kate Taylor (Magic), Taiana Day, Josie Seymour (Mainland), Sarah Guiney, Madison Thomas (Central), Kaiya Kepa and Charlice Bryce (Waikato-BOP) are also in the squad.
