The Silver Ferns defender was rewarded for another outstanding season with a record-equalling third Dame Lois Muir Supreme Award at the New Zealand Netball awards last night.
Jackson joins former Silver Ferns captain Laura Langman, who also claimed the accolade three times. They are the only multiple winners of the award.
The 28-year-old shared the title with shooter Grace Nweke in 2022 and claimed the outright title for the first time last year.
"It’s a pretty unbelievable achievement and I’m a little bit speechless, to be honest," Jackson said.
"It’s a huge honour and I’m very humble to receive the award once again. I just know I’m very fortunate to be surrounded by such supportive family, friends, team-mates and management and feel so lucky I can share this award with them.
"I never in my wildest dreams thought this was possible but, I guess, just whenever I take the court, I want to go out there and do my job to the best of my abilities.
"And I know, as a leader, when I do that, it helps others to do the same and I just want to give the team the best chance of winning as possible."
Jackson, who has earned 72 caps since 2017, featured in all 11 tests for the Silver Ferns this year and was impressive in their 3-1 series win over Australia.
The Central Pulse co-captain led the ANZ Premiership in rebounds, deflections and intercepts.
Nweke, who is heading to the NSW Swifts next year, was awarded the Sandra Edge Medal for Silver Ferns player of the year.
New Zealand captain Ameliaranne Ekenasio was awarded the Silver Ferns players’ award for the second successive season and was named ANZ Premiership player of the year for her standout performance with the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic.
Magic team-mate Georgia Tong won the ANZ Premiership players’ award.
Youngster Martina Salmon was rewarded for a breakout season as a replacement with the Pulse with the aspiring Silver Fern award.
Salmon, who has signed with the Tactix for next season, was a crowd favourite for the Fast5 Ferns and sank a six-point winner on the buzzer to help them beat South Africa and make it through to the Fast5 final.
That shot was crowned moment of the year.
Midcourter Maddy Gordon bounced back from a lengthy injury layoff for the Pulse to be named Silver Ferns fan favourite.
Mystics coach Tia Winikerei was named ANZ Premiership coach of the year, and Gareth Fowler, who notched his 100th national league game this year, was named umpire of the year.

Epsom Girls’ Grammar School midcourter Shayla Nepia was named secondary schools player of the year, Marly Howard (Netball Central) was named NNL umpire of the year, and Lisa Aull (Netball Central) was recognised for her contribution as a technical official.
