Obituary: Jack Alabaster

Thank you to all readers who tried to help identify the mystery players in the photograph which accompanied the Jack Alabaster obituary. Popular consensus was that the bowler was probably Australian John Gleeson, being watched by non-striking batsman, Otago’s Barry Milburn. The exact match was played between Otago and an Australia XI, in either 1967 or 1970.
