A second arrest has been made in relation to a shooting in Invercargill in June, following an arrest earlier this week.

Detective Senior Sergeant Stu Harvey said a 25-year-old man appeared in the Invercargill District Court today on one count of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was remanded on bail until Thursday, August 30.

A 24-year-old man was arrested on Monday following the shooting in Kelvin St on June 30.
