A 19-year-old English man was stopped while driving on Stanley St at 2.30pm Wednesday. He was found to have cannabis on him and was driving while his licence was suspended.
Senior Constable Chris Blackford said the man's car was impounded and he would appear in Queenstown District Court on Tuesday on charges relating to both matters.
• A 19-year-old Invercargill man was arrested and charged with disorderly behaviour after he allegedly became abusive to a passing police patrol on Camp St.
The man is to appear in the Queenstown District Court on the same date.
