Roys Peninsula plans to be revealed

Aucland property consultant Greg Marler will host a public open day on July 7 to reveal plans for his Roys Peninsula development.

Mr Marler has been at the centre of one of the longest-running and most expensive resource consent applications for a house in the Queenstown Lakes district.

This is the first public open day he has hosted to share his vision, first revealed in 2004 when he unsuccessfully applied for resource consent.

Four years of litigation later, Mr Marler has modified his plans and the location for a house.

Mr Marler's family trust, the Matukituki Trust, applied for a fresh resource consent and public submissions close on July 12.
