• A 29-year-old Australian man was arrested and charged with breaching bail when he was allegedly caught drinking alcohol at a central Queenstown backpackers.
Senior Constable Sean Drader said the man was on bail for injuring with intent to harm, with a condition he not drink alcohol.
• Queenstown police are appealing for information about a man who allegedly stole bread and soft drink from the Shotover St Night 'n Day. at 9.20pm on Thursday, June 21.
• A 23-year-old dairy farmer from Te Awamutu was caught by police allegedly urinating on a shop in Shotover St at 12.40am on Thursday. The man received a pre-charge warning.
• An 18-year-old Queenstown man recorded a breath-alcohol level of 150mg when stopped in Frankton Rd. The limit for a driver under 20 is zero. He received an instant fine and demerit points.
