Two kayakers have been rescued off the Fiordland coast this morning.
Emergency services received a call about kayakers in trouble in Martins Bay, about 20km north of Milford Sound, at 8.47am.
A police spokeswoman said the two had been rescued by helicopter.
An ambulance spokesman said a medic had been deployed to the area.
Further details were not immediately available.
