Police are seeking information about the identity of either of these men, captured on CCTV footage, following an alleged assault on a female outside Fergburger at 3am yesterday.
• A 30-year-old Uruguayan national working as a chef in Queenstown was ejected from a resort bar, but allowed in later by different door staff about 12.30am on Wednesday. The man was asked to leave when recognised, but refused and allegedly tried to start a fight.

He was arrested and charged, Senior Constable Chris Blackford, of Queenstown, said.

• A 27-year-old Auckland man was allegedly involved in an altercation in a Queenstown bar on Wednesday at 1.40am. Snr Const Blackford said a group of Australian tourists left the fight and was followed by anther group, including the Auckland man, who allegedly "attacked" the departing Australians. The man went to another bar, was asked to leave and refused. Police were caled and he was arrested and charged with assault and disorderly behaviour.

• A 21-year-old Queenstown man was spoken to by police and charged with breaching the liquor ban outside Night 'n Day on Camp St. He was arrested when "his behaviour became unacceptable and he continued his tirade of abuse," Snr Const Blackford said.

• An intoxicated Australian university student was found asleep in a bar yesterday at 2am. Acting Sergeant Tracy Haggart, of Queenstown, said the woman went in after hours. Staff called police when they could not rouse her. She was returned to a backpackers where she was a guest.

• A 21-year-old Wakatipu woman was allegedly punched in the forehead by an unknown man outside Fergburger at 3am. The man ran up Shotover St following the alleged assault. The woman suffered a cut to her head and was taken to Lakes District Hospital for treatment.

Police obtained CCTV footage of the assault.

• A pair of intruders were captured on security cameras causing havoc on board TSS Earnslaw yesterday between 2.17am and 2.37am. The trespassers broke through the security fence at Steamer Wharf and boarded the ship via the promenade deck. The men defecated, let off a fire extinguisher and tipped orange juice on to tools. Police were reviewing footage and will take fingerprints from the scene to identify the offenders.

• An unknown offender stole a $20 tray of yoghurt from a truck as it was being unloaded outside Night 'n Day on Camp St at 4.55am. Sgt Haggart said inquires were continuing.
