A blue 1991 Mazda Familia was reported missing to Queenstown police on Friday morning. A police spokeswoman said the vehicle was parked on Henry St and was stolen between 10.30pm on Thursday and 3.30am on Friday. The vehicle had damage to its front bumper. • An Australian man with a breath-alcohol reading of 496mcg was arrested on a drink-driving charge on Camp St at 12.05am on Friday.
• A man was charged with theft after he allegedly stole two cheese products and a Moro bar, in total worth $15, from Fresh Choice supermarket, on April 20, at 8.30pm.
• A 26-year-old Frenchman was processed for driving while disqualified and drink-driving on Mann St, on April 21, at 1am. The man allegedly registered a breath-alcohol reading of 815mcg.
• A 30-year-old German was arrested for disorderly behaviour likely to cause violence, at 4am, April 21. The man allegedly attempted to start a fight with staff in Debajo, then left the bar before police arrived. He was found by officers soon after on Camp St, where he was allegedly trying to start a fight with a group.
All alleged offenders were expected to appear in the Queenstown District Court on May 2.
• A 19-year-old German man was arrested and charged with theft after he allegedly stole a bottle of whisky from Altitude bar just before midnight on Monday. The value of the whisky was $32.50.
The man is expected to appear in the Queenstown District Court on May 2.
