There are still vacancies on some trails for the Otago Goldfields Heritage Trust's cavalcade which finishes in Oamaru in March.
All the walking trails were full, along with the light wagon trail from Hyde with trail boss Chris Bayne, Tony Roderique's cloverleaf trail from Shag Valley and Hampden, and Stu Moore's trail from Kimbell.
There were still vacancies on Alastair Gibson's trail from Omarama, Steve Vickers' trail from Katiki, Alice Stewart's trail from Omarama and Tony Cumberbeach's heavy wagon trail from Moeraki, cavalcade co-ordinator Terry Davis said yesterday.
About 470 registrations had been received so far for the event, which will finish at the Oamaru racecourse on March 5, with a parade and family fun day.
