Police are seeking information after a robbery at Lotto'n Things Post Shop, Thames Highway, north end, Oamaru.

A man entered the shop about 12.30pm today and demanded cash.

He was later seen getting into a burgundy-coloured vehicle that had been parked in Clare St.

A police dog handler scoured Oamaru North's Roberts Park for the suspect, described by witnesses as wearing a dark coloured balaclava, s dark long-sleeved top, blue jeans and fingerless gloves.   

Police would like to talk to the man in the attached photograph, which has been taken from CCTV footage.

No-one was injured during the robbery.
