The annual North Otago Mud Plug fundraiser by the Rotary Club of Waitaki, had 37 entries from as far away as Gore and Christchurch, a better field than at last year's event.

They had two rounds through 10 hazards to complete, losing penalty points on the way.

The event, held at Gemmel's Crossing, attracted several hundred people.
