Alexandra's Molyneux Aquatic Centre is still closed, after the wrong-sized parts were received for the pool's heating system.
Central Otago District Council aquatic centres manager Gary Easthope said work was on schedule until the wrong-sized custom-made replacement heating element was delivered.
A plant failure in the air-heating system also meant another custom-built part had to be ordered.
Maintenance involves replacement of the learning pool's floor, tiling, painting, and servicing of the filtration plant and heating units.
