A total of 166 Aurora Energy customers from Roxburgh to Beaumont Station Road impacted, its website said.
The outage began about 10.30am and was resolved at 2.16pm.
Earlier Aurora Energy said the reason for the outage was a line patrol in progress.
However, that was later updated to "third-party interference".
