A 24-year-old Cromwell man who went missing yesterday has turned up in Auckland.
Sergeant Mike Williams, of Cromwell, said when the man was originally reported missing there were concerns for his safety. Because of those concerns, police used a helicopter in the search.
Sgt Williams said the man, who has mental health problems, was later found to have boarded a flight from Queenstown to Auckland.
