A 44-year-old man has been charged with murder after a body was found in a car parked in Nelson yesterday afternoon.
A man entered the Nelson Police Station about 1.35pm and told police a woman's body was in a car parked in a nearby street.
A 37-year-old woman was found in the car by police.
The car has been taken for forensic examination and an autopsy will be done on the deceased to determine the cause of death.
