Actors Hayley Carrick and James Adams perform songs from The Phantom of the Opera the Regent Theatre foyer in Dunedin yesterday.
The Dunedin actors have been selected in the lead roles of Christine Daae and the Phantom in the Musical Theatre Dunedin production at the Regent Theatre from September 17-26.
Mr Adams understudied The Phantom, and played Raoul, at St James Theatre in Wellington in 2013, and said the men's relationship with the female protagonist altered both characters.
Ticket sales for the Dunedin production go on sale on Monday.
