Four people were injured in three crashes across Dunedin at the weekend.
Yesterday afternoon two cars crashed at the busy intersection of Stuart and London Sts.
A St John ambulance spokesman said two people were taken to Dunedin Hospital with minor injuries after the crash, which happened at 3.26pm.
A silver Toyota Corolla and a black Mazda MX5 were both significantly damaged.
A man being treated by St John staff at the scene had a bandage on his head.
A police spokeswoman said the crash slowed down traffic for a short time.
It was too early to comment on the cause of the crash.
Earlier in the day a car crashed into a light pole on Rattray St next to the Speight’s brewery leaving one person with moderate injuries.
The car was significantly dented and the light pole bent and twisted.
On Saturday two occupants were able to free themselves from a car which rolled and ended up on its roof about 12.45pm in Cowan Rd, Pine Hill.
A police spokeswoman said it was unclear what led to the crash, but it appeared the vehicle hit a bank. A St John spokesman said a male occupant of the car was taken to Dunedin Hospital with minor injuries.
