They include seaside-inspired necklaces and brooches in materials from silver and gold to pumice and driftwood.
But Lure's Ann Culy asked her to push the boundaries for the iD show, and Kelly has most definitely done that.
The only pieces not for sale in the collection are a ring and brooch that will undoubtedly attract the most attention, as they are made from sterling silver and a material less often used in jewellery - living moss.
The ideas for the collection began when Kelly was appointed the 2014 Auckland Council regional parks artist in residence, giving her the opportunity to spend two months at Scandrett Regional Park, near Warkworth.
‘‘Since then, I've been developing ideas that have led to this work.''
The collection began touring New Zealand at the beginning of last year, but in between shows ‘‘new things have grown the whole way through'', she said.‘‘I'm very pleased with this show in particular.
‘‘Often you get ideas and then, as you're working, they grow.''
Of the growing moss, Kelly said it had to be looked after, and had lived in the ring so far for nine months.
She said she was often inspired by ‘‘plants and living things.''
The show was ‘‘about jewellery and the enjoyment of jewellery''.
‘‘There are probably more day-to-day pieces, and then there are ideas extended.''
Other World is open from today at Lure.
