Senior Sergeant Trevor Thomson, of Dunedin, said two more burglaries have been reported to police since Thursday.
Overnight on Wednesday, a hot water cylinder, copper pipes and plumbing fittings were taken from a property in Tedder St, St Kilda, Snr Sgt Thomson said.
"So that’s probably scrap metal."
A construction container which lay in Carrick Pl, in the new Highland Park sub-division in Mosgiel, was entered between June 7-8.
The offenders took a large generator and two DynaDrill Hammer drills. Snr Sgt Thomson said yesterday police were still appealing for information regarding Gordon Green, who faces burglary charges and has several active warrants.
Mr Green is 1.8m tall, of medium-solid build and has distinctive bulldog tattoos on either side of his neck and on his forearm.
Police believe the 39-year-old is "actively offending, and is being provided accommodation by associates in South Dunedin."
They warned the public not to approach Mr Green.
