The Armed Offenders Squad assisted with the execution of a search warrant at a Corstorphine house in Dunedin about 7am today.
Senior Sergeant Darryl Lennane, of Dunedin, said the squad was used as a precaution given the nature of the warrant.
"The occupants of the address were co-operative and are assisting police with their inquiries. Residents of the area have no cause for any ongoing concern."
Snr Sgt Lennane would not disclose the nature of the warrant.
