Canine capers

Hannah Ellis, of Dunedin, and her dog Indie await the start of the 16km run at the 4Paws marathon on Sunday at Bottle Lake in Christchurch.

Hannah was hoping to meet her sister Megan Ellis and her dog Noodle out on the track. Megan was the third woman home over the marathon distance (42.4km) in a time of 5hr 24min 44sec, while Hannah and Indie ran the 16km circuit in 2hr 24min 15sec.
