Dunedin halfback Brad Weber and Taieri outside back Kieran Moffat have been picked for a Templar sevens side which will play three tournaments in Europe later this month.
The Templars sevens side was started in 2002 and now plays throughout the sevens circuit in Europe.
Former University A winger and Fijian sevens player Randell Kamea played for the side in 2010.
Weber and Moffat will be based in London.
They will play sevens tournaments over three weekends, in Amsterdam, Worthing and Cardiff.
Weber said it was something to really look forward and for both players to enjoy their game.
The men will not be paid, but all their expenses will be met.
He said the club's invitations had come out of the blue and it would be a great trip, although he had not done much specific sevens training recently.
Both players are in the Otago training squad for this season but have not played for the full Otago team.
Weber and Moffat both impressed for Otago when the side made it to the final at the national sevens tournament, in Queenstown in January.
