Zingari-Richmond players and supporters punched the air in celebration after replacement Shaun Driver kicked a late penalty to clinch a dramatic win over Harbour at Watson Park.
Harbour dominated territory in the second spell but was not able to capitalise before Driver's angled penalty from 35m sealed Zingari's second win of the season.
Each team scored three tries and it was an extremely even game, in which Zingari's better goal-kicking eventually proved the decisive factor.
The game-breaker came midway through the second spell, when Zingari captain and blindside flanker Daniel Ramsay scored a runaway intercept try from 55m after a long period on desperate defence.
It was thrust and counter-thrust for the remainder of the game. Harbour winger George Folau scored handy to the posts three minutes from the end to level the scores but Motegi Daisuke missed the handy conversion which would have given it the lead. Zingari worked its way back into opposition territory, from where Driver kicked the winning goal.
Ramsay was a commanding figure in the Zingari pack, both in the set pieces and open, while Chris Bell and Tom Rowe made strong contributions. Enoka Taufua cleared the ball well from halfback and Jack Facer ran strongly from centre.
Folau and Lex Kaleca were constant threats in the Harbour backline and Johnny Legg controlled play well from halfback.
Eben Joubert became increasingly prominent from No 8 in the second spell, Angus Duckett and Hadley May were hard-working flankers and Sam Ready had a strong all-round game at lock.
But, in the end, it was not enough against a committed Zingari team.
Zingari-Richmond 25 (Jack Facer, Daniel Ramsay, Andrew Meville tries; Christian Walker 2 con, pen, Shaun Driver pen), Harbour 22 (George Folau 2, Lex Kaleca tries; Ollie Cuthill con, pen, Motegi Daisuke con). Halftime: 10-10.
