Noble Court has won his last two starts over hurdles. The Brian Court-owned and trained gelding has won three flat races.
He finished third to Aronsay and Celtic Dream over 2200m at Oamaru in July the last time he raced on the flat. The Danzighill gelding is in a rating 80 2000m race this week.
Jotilla, the maiden hurdles winner last Saturday, is in a flat race there on Sunday.
Opie Bosson has been engaged to ride Estrato in the Hawkes Bay Guineas on Saturday.
Sam Spratt, who rode Estrato to win the 1400m race for 3yr-olds at Hastings on September 17, has opted for stablemate Antonio Lombardo.
She rode Antonio Lombardo to win a fresh up win in the Challenge Stakes a (1200m) at Ruakaka on September.
She has ridden Estrato in his eight races for three wins. Both horses are trained at Matamata by Peter McKay, who races them with his wife, Kim, and Trevor Luke, of Christchurch.
They won the Hawkes Bay Guineas in 2007 with Alamosa, ridden by Gavin McKeon.
• Golden Slipper winner Sepoy has drawn the inside gate for his first test against older horses in the group one Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley tomorrow night.
The Darley colt will be one of eight runners in the 1200m feature, along with star mare More Joyous, who will be fresh and has barrier four.
Former Hong Kong galloper Happy Zero fared well with gate two, while group one-winning sprinter Atomic Force has seven.
• Rick Hore-Lacy has confirmed that Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes runner-up Pinnacles will contest the Epsom Handicap at Randwick on Saturday.
Hore-Lacy said Jay Ford would ride the gelding in the group one race.
The Epsom will be Pinnacles' third start on successive Saturdays but Hore-Lacy is confident he will cope.
"If any horse can handle it, it's him," Hore-Lacy said.
Pinnacles is a dual group one placegetter and came closest to success at the top level last Saturday when second to stablemate Toorak Toff in the group one Rupert Clarke.
He also finished third to Triple Honour in the 2008 group one Doncaster Handicap (1600m) at Randwick.
"He handles the Sydney way of going and he has never raced better," Hore-Lacy said.
Hore-Lacy has ruled out the Cox Plate as a possible target for Toorak Toff.
Hore-Lacy said the group one Toorak Handicap (1600) at Caulfield on October 8 would be Toorak Toff's next start before the Crystal Mile (1600m) at Moonee Valley.
