Joshua Mac is poised to continue his winning form of last season in the Kurow Cup at Oamaru tomorrow.

Joshua Mac and Johnny Bravo give trainer Robert Dunn a strong hand in the race.

John Dunn has elected to drive Joshua Mac.

Dunn drove Johnny Bravo to a last-start win at Addington eight days ago, which enabled him to achieve a personal best tally of 74 wins for the season, one more than the previous term.

Robert Dunn trained the winners of 63 races last season, surpassing his top tally of 57 of the previous season.

Anthony Butt drove Joshua Mac to a last-start win at Addington on July 16 when Dunn was on holiday.

Joshua Mac won six races, including four at Addington and minor-placed six times from 16 starts last season.

Tim Williams, the stable junior driver, has been declared for Johnny Bravo.

Williams has also been engaged for Wilusi Blues in the race for junior drivers.

Wilusi Blues was a last-start winner at Addington on July 30.

Pretty Dollybird is seeking back-to-back wins in the Kurow Cup.

Colin De Filippi again has the drive.

Stephen McNally was fined $400 for careless driving at Addington on Thursday night.

McNally, the driver of Go Town Girl, was found to have shifted out on Sugar Rush after 200m, causing the latter to tangle.

Go Town Girl broke a hopple.

Indrah is now trained by Joanne Burrows at Greenpark.

Indrah, the winner of five races from the Steven McRae stable, has not raced since finishing second to Beaudiene Bad Babe in the Harness Jewels on June 5.

Makarewa Sun, the six-win trotter, is back with part-owner Ron Barron at Makarewa.

The 9yr-old had his most recent win at Addington in May 2009.

He has been in the West Melton stable of Ken Barron.

Smiling Shard qualified for the semifinals of the Breeders' Crown at Melton next Friday when he won a repechage at Yarra Valley last night.

Smiling Shard, driven by Gavin Lang, led after 150m and won by 3.2m in a 2.01.7 mile rate for the 2150m (mobile).

The last 800m was run in 59.8, the final 400m in 26.9.

Dexter Dunn is to be reunited with Smiling Shard in the semifinal.
