Trainer Steve Anderton has an eye on the Dunedin Cup with either The Solitaire or The Glitzy One.

"I would hope one of them would progress to the Dunedin Cup (in February) from holiday racing," Anderton said.

"It is hard to split them. Both are honest, staying types." The Solitaire is a rating 85 2200m at Wingatui on Monday.

The Glitzy One is in a rating 75 at Waikouaiti on Sunday week.

The Solitaire has won two of her four starts in a fresh campaign. She won over 2200m at Ascot Park at her last start on December 10.

The Glitzy One ran second to Alpine Heights over 2000m at Gore on Sunday following a win over 2000m at Cromwell.

Natuzzi, a winner at Cromwell when having his first start, resumes on Monday.

"He is not a big robust horse and he had a week off after Cromwell. We will see how he goes to decide his programme," Paul Richards, his trainer, said.

Anzac Star, another member of the stable, is being spelled.
