First win for NZ U18

New Zealand grabbed their first win at the division 2, group A under-18 girls world championship in Latvia at the weekend.

After three heavy defeats, having been promoted a level, the young Kiwis beat Chinese Taipei 4-3.

Dunedin forwards Camryn Linton and Sophie Sam each scored goals for New Zealand, and Canterbury forward Nerhys Gordon added two.
