The Southern Steel midcourt duo were part of the 16-player squad announced by coach Noeline Taurua yesterday.
Crampton retains her role as vice-captain, sharing the role with Jane Watson, while Ameliaranne Ekenasio remains as captain.
The experience the pair brought to the Steel proved valuable throughout a tough ANZ Premiership season.
The youngest member of the starting Steel midcourt trio, 20-year-old wing defence Kate Heffernan, was named to the Silver Ferns development squad.
The squad is dominated by ANZ Premiership champion Central Pulse.
Six of its players, including impressive uncapped wing attack Maddy Gordon, were named to the Silver Ferns.
Gordon has been a regular starter for the back-to-back champion having moved into the wing attack role this season.
Centre Claire Kersten also earned a recall.
Only pulse shooter Aliyah Dunn, who was named in the development squad, did not make the team from the starting seven.
Dunn, originally from Invercargill, was one of several with southern links to feature.
Notable among the others was Northern Stars shooter Jamie Hume, who is from Clyde.
She was named in the development squad.
Missing from last year’s World Cup-winning squad are retired trio Casey Kopua, Laura Langman and Maria Folau.
The team did not have games confirmed following Covid-19, although would begin a training camp in October.
Taurua said it was important to continue developing the country’s top players despite that.
"This has been one of the toughest seasons for the athletes in what has been a disrupted ANZ Premiership, but I have been impressed with how the teams have risen to the challenge and what they have produced on court.
"Now is the time to continue developing our athletes at the highest level and building on our game which is exciting.
"We have the core of our Netball World Cup-winning squad which brings that experience to the side while the likes of Claire [Kersten], Sulu [Fitzpatrick] and Kelly [Jury] have experience at that level and bring a fresh dynamic to the squad."
Taurua said she would be working closely with the development squad which included both experience and New Zealand's next generation of netballers.
"The calibre of this squad, I think, really shows how well the future of our game is placed, which is why we want these athletes to work closely with the Silver Ferns squad to help grow our depth at the elite level."
