St Clair continued to dominate the senior A pennant series by adding the provincial title to its metropolitan title in the finals played in Dunedin last weekend.
St Clair beat North Otago by a 4 to 2 margin in the morning semifinal and won four games and halved another to beat Wanaka in the final.
For St Clair, Michael Minty and Greg Johnson posted two wins, while Stephen Hitchcox and Tony Giles emerged unbeaten with a win and a half each.
Otago senior and masters (over-40) triallists performed well, while the start of the day came from the losing Wanaka team.
Mitch Bosley played at No 6 for Otago in the triangular tournament at Jacks Point, near Queenstown, two weeks ago and lost both of his games.
But at No 1 for Wanaka, he beat Balclutha's Zac Robertson in 15 holes in the morning.
In the afternoon, Bosley was up against St Clair and Otago No 1 Brent McEwan and the pair had a close-fought battle with a plethora of birdies.
Bosley finished well under par to emerge as the winner on the final green and make amends for his recent losses.
North Otago won the Senior B final, while Gladfield took the Presidents grade cup.
Tapanui won the intermediate section, Toko the junior A and Port Chalmers completed a successful day for some of the smaller clubs by beating Roxburgh to take junior B honours.
