Leishman is again handling the anchor duties for the telecast of the New Zealand Open in Arrowtown from March 12 to 15.
While the casual golf fan will look at the field and see a mix of battlers and unknown Americans, Leishman and his cohorts are already licking their lips at the prospect of watching professional-in-waiting Lee attack the course.
"I've no doubt the presence of Danny Lee is going to have an effect on everything," Leishman told the Otago Daily Times.
"It should boost our viewership and I'm sure numbers will also be up at the course."
Leishman led the commentary crew when the Open was first played at the Hills, in late 2007, and said he was "staggered" at how the tournament was run and supported.
"We'd heard rumours about good crowds and all these volunteers but it clearly exceeded everyone's expectations.
"It's put the New Zealand Open back on solid ground after those years of uncertainty. It's given it a lot of solidity."
The commentators will again utilise the Virtual Spectator graphics from Dunedin company Animation Research Limited.
Leishman will be joined for a second time at the Hills by Ossie Moore, the former Australian professional who will be the commentary team's roving voice.
The new faces in the television box are both former professionals, Grant Dodd and Jay Townsend.
Dodd, an Australian, has played on the European and Asian tours and played in two British Opens.
In 1999, he won the Slovenian Open on the Challenge Tour.
Injuries derailed Dodd's golf career so he turned to other avenues.
He now writes about wine for the Australian Golf Digest and is part of the Fox Sports golf team.
Townsend, who won four professional tournaments, is a regular commentator at European and Nationwide tour events, and also works for BBC Radio covering the majors and the Ryder Cup.
"I think we've put together a pretty balanced team," Leishman said.
Sky Television has coverage of the final three rounds of the New Zealand Open: on March 13 (Sky Sport 1, 3pm-6pm), March 14 (Sky Sport 2, 2pm-6pm) and March 15 (Sky Sport 1, 2pm-6pm).
