The leaderboard at the New Zealand Open is looking congested midway through the third round.
There are six players at 10-under-par, three at nine-under and a further four at eight-under.
New Zealander Steve Alker has just birdied the third hole to join the leading pack.
American golfer Jim Herman has picked up seven shots through 15 holes today and joins Alker, Josh Teater (US), Alex Prugh (US), Jeff Gove (US)
and Stephen Dartnall (Australia) at the top.
Australian Craig Parry was on course to join them after a superb round but bogied the last to stay at nine-under.
New Zealand's Grant Waite had a sizzling start, with birdies on five of his first six holes.
