After a mixed set of results by Otago's leading golfers, the top eight have retained their places in the team for the South Island teams' tournament which will be played on the Waimari Beach course in Christchurch on November 7 and 8.
But there are some changes to the team order which could be crucial with the five-man team for the national interprovincial event being named after the South Island event.
The top two positions are unaltered but, after top qualifying and making the senior final this weekend, Michael Minty leapfrogs captain Andrew Hobbs to take No 3 berth.
Brandon Hodgson (Otago) becomes the new No 5 swapping places with Thomas Facer (Otago) who will now play at No 7.
The team is (in playing order): Brent McEwan (St Clair), Duncan Croudis (Otago), Michael Minty (St Clair), Andrew Hobbs (St Clair), Brandon Hodgson (Otago), Mitch Bosley (Wanaka), Thomas Facer (Otago), Shennan Reid (Taieri).
Reserve: Michael Smith (Otago).
