Meanwhile, Oamaru joined Albion in second place after securing a two-wicket win over Glenavy.

In the chase, Martin top-scored with a quickfire 36 off 22 balls, supported by Thomas Anderson with 26 and Alex Wilson with 21 as Union sealed a five-wicket victory, reaching 122 for five in the 19th over.
Param Bajwa was the best of the Albion bowlers, taking three for 22 off four overs.
At the Glenavy Domain, the home team won the toss and chose to bat.
Their innings revolved around veteran Jeremiah Shields, who delivered a standout performance with an unbeaten 70 off 60 balls, the highest score of the weekend. Glenavy batted their 20 overs, finishing at 115 for eight.
For Oamaru, Lachlan Brookes claimed two for 26 from his four overs, while Reece Curle took two for 12 off three and Hunter Wardle two for six off three.
Oamaru’s chase was anchored by veteran Stephan Grobler, who scored a fluent 52 off 37 balls, while Hawke Cup team-mate Nick Johnston contributed 37 off 29.
At 104 for three, Oamaru appeared to be cruising to a comfortable victory, but a sudden collapse — losing five wickets for just nine runs — turned the game into a tense finish.
Despite the stumble, Oamaru reached 116 for eight in 18 overs to secure a narrow two-wicket win.
Harry Murphy led the Glenavy bowlers with four for 24 off four overs, and Nijamdeen Nijam two for 33 off four.
