Walker and Girdler won the New Zealand Professional Bowls Association final in Hamilton on Saturday when they beat Justin Goodwin (NSW) and Richard Collett (North Harbour) 8-7, 10-3.
"I'm pretty stoked," said Girdler, who joined the New Zealand PBA after losing his place in the New Zealand team after playing 192 outdoor tests.
Walker will be making his seventh trip to the UK to compete in his eighth international PBA final.

Walker will compete in the International Open Singles in Sussex in November, and he and Girdler will represent the New Zealand PBA at the World Indoor Pairs in Norfolk next January.
The pair are now unbeaten in 20 matches over a three-year period in this country, but the wins in the semifinal and final did not come easily.
In the first set the defending champions clawed back from behind over the second half of the set to snatch the advantage over Goodwin and Collett.
The northerners were leading 5-2 after five ends, but Walker and Girdler drew three shots on the next two ends to lead 8-5 with two ends to play. Two singles on the last two ends were not enough for Goodwin and Collett and they lost the first set 7-8. In the second set Walker's experience told against Collett as the Dunedin pair won 10-3.
Walker and Girdler were 3-6 down after seven of the nine ends in the first set of the semifinal against the Wellington pair of Kevin Rice and Ross Thorn (Wellington), but a single and a pair on the last two ends tied the first set in the best-of-two-set match.
The second set was also close, at 4-2 to the Dunedin pair after six ends, but drawn threes on the seventh and eighth ends settled matters without needing to play the final end of the second set, for a final score of 6-6, 10-2.
The second semifinal was not so close, with Collett and Goodwin beating the Waikato team of Brian Cathro and Frances Knight 12-1, 12-4.
