A person has been airlifted to hospital after what is thought to be a work-related incident near Dipton in Southland today.
A police spokeswoman said emergency services were called to a property at Matthews Rd, Benmore, about 11.32am.
She said it “looks like potentially a workplace incident”, but had no further details.
A St John spokesman said one person had been airlifted to Dunedin Hospital with moderate injuries.
