As part of its ‘QPS Project Christmas Drive’, anyone funding smaller items — like basketballs, shovels, rakes, buckets and plants — will receive a digital Christmas card.
And anyone funding larger items like a $6000 shade sail or $3000 basketball hoops will receive a named plaque.
The school’s seeking to create an outdoor environment that inspires imaginative play, fosters community connections and encourages exploration.
Specifically, it’s looking at six playground additions — a central meeting point, all-weather play area, upgrades to its senior and junior playgrounds, a bike loop, a quiet space to encourage reflection, and a more inviting school entrance.
